I feel we can all agree that 2020 was quite an unusual and challenging year. But now, in early January, I am comforted by the sight of snowdrops appearing, the light changing, and clear signs that spring is not far away - let us hope that the changing seasons bring hope and positivity to all.
I wanted to start the year by acknowledging my gratitude for the support and appreciation offered me in 2020. I was absolutely thrilled that the 2021 Nature Calendar sold out before Christmas - something I could only have dreamt of. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised at how my Instagram following has grown in the last few months with so many of you taking the time to comment. Many artists never hear how their art is received and painting can be a lonely act, so I have especially appreciated this chance to interact with you.
I do hope that all those who bought the 2021 Nature Calendar are enjoying it, and that it brings nature closer, especially if you are confined to being indoors at the moment.
I’ve already started work on the 2022 Calendar, which I hope will be available from late September. In addition, I am developing some bright new greetings cards which will also be available as large, mounted prints (these will soon be available to view and buy in the website shop).
I’ll post updates on all these new projects via Instagram and Facebook, but if you’d like to be on the mailing list to be informed first, or if you’d like to preorder your 2022 Calendar, please get in touch.
I’m looking forward to another year of celebrating nature with you and wish you all the best for 2021!
