Print: Celebrating the Seasons - September
In this series of twelve paintings, Laura invites you to stop and savour a moment. Every piece shows a distant view framed by exuberant flowers, food and drink, all chosen to evoke the unique flavours and feeling of each season. This series is about celebrating the gift of being alive; of being present and wholly absorbed in a place and time. Laura hopes these images inspire joy and that they offer an opportunity to be transported and revived.

The harvest is represented by the field of grain ready to harvest, and by the pears, marrow, grapes and corn on the table. In the background, an oast house - where hops were traditionally dried for beer making - is a nod to Laura’s upbringing in Kent. Hops also feature at the table, along with typical early autumn flowers such as poppy, dahlia, meadowsweet, scabius, trefoil, cornflower and gladioli.
This giclée print is mounted, measuring 14 3/4in (37.5cm) x 10 3/4in (27.3cm).
