Print: Celebrating the Seasons - March
In this series of twelve paintings, Laura invites you to stop and savour a moment. Every piece shows a distant view framed by exuberant flowers, food and drink, all chosen to evoke the unique flavours and feeling of each season. This series is about celebrating the gift of being alive; of being present and wholly absorbed in a place and time. Laura hopes these images inspire joy and that they offer an opportunity to be transported and revived.

It is early spring, and just warm enough - for the brave! - to have breakfast by the open window. The view shows a stand of balsam poplars covered in delicate new leaves illuminated by the morning sun. Behind is the swollen, glittering river rushing past. At this time of year, there are plenty of wild spring flowers to pick and the vase holds daffodils, hellebore, ornamental cherry, angel rose, forsythia, hyacinths, wallflowers, lungwort, pansy, crocus, cilla siberica, dog toothed violet, primula, periwinkle, aubrieta, and more.
This giclée print is mounted, measuring 14 3/4in (37.5cm) x 10 3/4in (27.3cm).
